- My name is Jared Lyman and this is a place to share two of my hobbies: paragliding and photography.

I shot with my 35MM today. I'm going to try and focus less on portraits and more on story telling. This is very hard for me as I'm tempted to run up and capture the portrait. However, after review them at home I do like the wider shots which allow the surroundings to help tell a story or add to the portrait of the person. It's something I"ll need to keep working on.
